DELICIOUS, HOSPITABLE, WARM, FAMILY, FLAVORFUL, and HOME are all terms I’d use to describe Mama Bravas. I got the white pizza since everyone says it’s the best and they were right. It was phenomenal; I loved it. Karim and Debora (husband and wife) own and run this restaurant together with their family and the atmosphere and everything there had a very warm family feel to it. You could tell they were proud, passionate, and happy to have this pizzeria to serve everyone. Karim is the master pizza artist and boy does he know his craft. When they heard it was my first time there they grinned and treated me like family and took me to the kitchen to meet Karim and show me where and how they make the pizzas and let me watch them make mine. They talked to me to get to know me and told me their story about the pizzeria and their family. I really enjoyed talking to Karim, Debora, and Alia. Phenomenal pizza and phenomenal people. This is a gem of Brunswick county. Highly recommend!!
I love eating here when we are camping at the beach! I introduced my parents to it the last time we were down there together. The owner has always greeted the patrons to ensure that they are satisfied. It is authentic, made-from-scratch, Italian food! (I will actually order and pickup 2 plates of lasagna on my way home from the beach... They're that good!)
I enjoy this establishment every time I visit. This is like visiting your Italian friends home for true home cooking. The owner/chef is likely to visit with the diners to be sure everyone is enjoying their meal. I am originally from NJ where Good Italian restaurants are everywhere and I would expect Mama Brava's could easily hold their own up there.
Always love coming here! The atmosphere is friendly, the pizza is to die for, if you are a chess fanatic-you'll LOVE the display case FULL of historic and vintage pieces the owner has collected! It's quite an experience!

The Stromboli looked to die for as well.
Excellent food and excellent service. The tables, walls, and floors show a lot of age and could use some repair, but I think it adds to the charm. There is a collection of chess boards and a few you can play. My son and I enjoyed a game of chess as we waited for our food (he won).
Many would just drive by since it is off the beaten path. Old school vibe inside but they are updating. Just know the food, with a large menu, is the star is the visit.
